MFS Open Day 2026
We have been telling parents about what My First Step is. This time around we want you to come and see it for yourself.
On the 9th of May (9AM – 2PM), we are opening our doors for an Open Day and we would love for you and your little ones to come by. No pressure and no sales pitch. Just a relaxed Saturday morning where you can explore the school at your own pace and let the experience speak for itself.
What is happening on the day
The kids will have plenty to keep them busy. There is an Indoor Play Zone where they can run around and let loose as well as a Petting Zoo where they can get up close with some friendly animals. We will also have Creative Craft sessions going on throughout the morning so the little ones can get creative while you take your time looking around.
For parents who want a better feel of the school we will have a Guided School Tour and our teachers will be around for you to meet and chat with. No appointments needed and no formal agenda. Just come as you are.
Learn About Our School Programme
If you would like to understand what learning actually looks like at My First Step, drop into one of our programme sessions running throughout the morning. Each session gives you a closer look at our curriculum, how we structure the day and the approach we take to early childhood learning.
Sessions run every hour so there is no need to rush. Join whichever one fits your timing and feel free to ask our teachers anything along the way.

Our Partners on the Day
We are happy to have Welo Chiropractic and Happy Fish Swim School joining us at the event. Welo Chiro will be offering free consultations on the day so if you have been meaning to get that checked out this is a good chance to do it in between touring the school.
A Little Something for the Mamas
The Open Day falls on the eve of Mother’s Day and we did not want to let that go unnoticed. Every mother who comes through the door will receive a small door gift from us. It is our little way of saying thank you for showing up and for everything you do.

For families who decide to enrol on the day we have put together something special! Registration fee waived, two sets of school uniforms on us and first month of tuition fees fully covered!
